How to turn-off Windowblinds?
Friday, October 24, 2008 by vogliadicane | Discussion: WindowBlinds
maybe that´s been asked before, however I din´t find anything...
Title says it all, and I mean turn it off without uninstalling it. When clicking unload Windowblinds in the info pane it is reloaded after restarting the computer (that´s what I don´t want)...

ah ok, thank you, Cavan and cplair! Just saw it also works, if you select windows-aero in the "appearence" dialog of windows AFTER having unloaded WB (seems like WB just substitutes Windows-classic or standard) ...

I am trying to unload WindowBlinds after months of use and return to the default Vista "Aero" theme, at least for a little while. After unloading I get the Windows Classic theme. Before I make what I think is the correct move I wanted to check with you guys. If I understood your last post correctly WB just applies Classic theme and I just need to apply the "aero" theme from Appearence & Personalization--Themes-- in the Control Panel or do I need to choose the Aero theme from the WindowBlinds menu? I have changed all of my icons, one by one, for every folder I have and don't want to lose them when I apply the theme through Windows Control Panel. How do I return to "Aero" theme and will my icons change to default folder icons when I reapply the default theme??
Thanks,

Select either Windows Classic or Windows XP from skin list in WB config, apply, then unload WB.
