I had a 1968 Dodge Charger, ahem, the REAL Dodge Charger as my first car back in '75 Storm!

growing up....we had a black Dodge Phoenix in the mid sixties....saw a white one...same year the other day....was travelling pretty well for it's age......

My wife has always wanted a late 60s model Mustang Fastback....something like Steve McQueen drove in Bullet.....sooo when the new body style came out she kept hinting about it. Being a mom, she's always driven pratical stuff while I pretty much got what I wanted. My son turns 16 and my wife's '02 Xterra is a good choice for him so I took her out on my birthday and let her pick one out.........

I love all the choices you guys have made!

With the following mods: 64 bit Windows 7, 1TB Ram, 5 Solid State drives, lifetime subscription to WC and SD and all in a HUD. Oh yeah....and the front seat flushes....I'd never get out of it!!!

I didn't post a picture in my initial post . . so here is my first ride.  Not sure it's a dream-car now . . but it was then!

Mine was red

You could also fit a good number of people in the trunk for the drive-in

Or a bunch of dead exiled bodies right Zu?!

Thanks for the memories stormy! (Don't tell my wife!)

Cause she could end up in the trunk too?!

Lantec: I knew I like you for some reason.  True Blue Oval fan here also.  I've got a '97 Mustang GT currently and have the rights to my Father-in-Laws '86 T-top GT when he feels he can't handle it anymore.  The '97 was the first car I HAD to have and it only had 17 miles on it when I bought it.  Now its got 181,000 + and still kicking.  I love the old mare.

I'm currently rollin' in a 2007 Fusion after my 1994 Thunderbird finally died after 775,000 miles Messiah.

Being that you're a Blue Oval fan, you should recognize the car in Reply #3!

1985 Probe V

Interesting note about Ford concept vehicles: They all actually worked.  Most concepts are pushed around, Ford drives 'em into the shows and onto the stage.

The concept was tangible due to it being their best wind-tunnel design for testing wind co-efficiencies, resistance and aerodynamic drag!

Cplair...I love you. I had a '68 as well. 383 big block, 650 Holley, mmmmmm.....oh, my. We got her up to 140 mph at 3/4 throttle, and she wanted more. I thought it was enough. If I could find another, I would take it.
