I found out late in the mornign but thank goodness found out that today is Bosses day. It's a day to thank "The Man" for keeping you in your place. So take a bit of time out of your day (when you should be working) and do something nice. 
If nothing else, it may make them feel bad when they lay you off as the economy crashes.
