Before you last reinstalled WB did you use something like CCleaner to clean up left over files and your registry.

I can't say for sure as I run XP but the oldest file date for WB 6.3 latest build is 2008/07/20. Your install shows 2 file dates from 2007, that just does not seem right to me.

No I didn't run anything like CC cleaner, and about those dates. Ehh, thats what I got after updating 2-3 days ago through Impulse.

Update or a fresh install? There was a bad update awhile back, not sure if it affected Vista builds, my dates on XP were out of whack until doing a uninstall, system clean with CCleaner and then a fresh WB install thru Impulse, reboots between each step.

For security, " Avast! Antivirus(Doesn't run normally. I only use it when I suspect a virus), and Spyware Doctor (Again, only run when I suspect a problem)

I uninstalled, then reinstalled. So, fresh.  And I'll do just that, and report back here.

Spyware Doctor installed is problematic, active or not. Has it been installed during all this?  What ATI drivers are installed?

Edit: It has been installed, for maybe half the time. Around the time I got Windows Blinds, I had recently done a reformat, so I didn't need protection.

Might want to update them (8.8 on-site- my guess is you have 8.6 installed)...don't think the problem is that since those would have been a more recent install.

When you disable active, it still leaves some restrictions in place. Frankly, I don't think that's it either.

First off...I've never heard of " WBLIND.dll_unloaded". That said, that error code is a very old Windows General Fault Error and the additional reference to 1033 indicates a problem with MS software...notably Live Messenger. 

Try this: open Command Prompt in Administrator mode and run sfc /scannow.

I would update the drivers, but I'm afraid I'll get those weird graphical glitches in KOTOR2 again. And you may be right with the Spyware doctor, but I have the freeware edition from the Googlepack, so all the active scanners, and things aren't enabled, so I don't think I have any restrictions setup.

Now about the msn error, today was the first time Msn's ever crashed, so I don't know whats up with that. My problem is Windows Explorer crashing frequently. Since I have Aero enabled, it hasn't crashed(minus the msn one), but I should re-enable blinds, so I can paste THOSE crash messages.

Lastly, I did as you said with sfc / scannow, but it opens up some box, then immediatly closes.

That's not good. Start/ All Programs/ Accessories/ Command Prompt (right click, tick Run As Administrator) and that's what it did?

I don't think it's MSN specifically, I think it's Explorer in general.

Oh, that was an error that I caused. I tried running the sfc / scannow through the search box. I did it correctly this time, and it's scanning. 

Now about what Cavan1 said, I uninstalled Windows Blinds, then rebooted. I then ran CCleaner, and rebooted. Now, what version of Windows Blinds should I install? The stable version, or the newest pre-release?

You don't have "Right Click' or some funky shell extensions installed, do you?. That Googlepack installation gives me pause.

No apps called Right Click, and the only "customization" software I have is Windows Blinds, and CursorFX. Also, I don't believe I have any random shell extensions.

Edit: And if it matters, the only thing I installed from the Google Pack, was the freeware version of Spyware Doctor.

Well, hopefully that scan fixed the errors, and Windows Blinds is now installed again, so I'm just waiting to see if it fucks up again.

But on a good note, I think, seems the info has been fixed.
