Web site loading slow

Does anyone have problems with this site loading slow?Every site i go on loads fast but this one.

Loads well for me with a 20Mbps connection using ie7, but remember WC is a very graphic intensive site.

I though it was my PC but i guess not.Sometimes it takes forever.I have IE 7

You could try closing out your browser and then cleaning out all cookies and browser history and see if that helps.

Also aee if you don't have anything else running in the background that is using up your resources. 

It's worth looking at.

I'm running an XP system and IE 8 and it seems to be working okay. 

How are other sites loading for you?

i wonder if it will ever be worked on or fixed, it's been slow as molasses for me for months on end, sometimes unusable

Agreed, except slower than frozen molasses. Makes you wonder what's the point of being a subscriber if you can't even use the site. Download speeds are typically horrible.

It's a known issue.
If if is and has been a known issue, why not allocate enough resources to fix the problem permanently. Perhaps take a break from upgrades to working programs and fix the connection problems that seem to afflict a good number of people. Why does the site seem to work well for some people and lousy for others? Makes no sense . And why doesn't Stardock acknowledge a problem and give users a clue as to what is going on and what, if anything, is being done to alleviate the problem. I know I'm bitching, but those of us with the problem will understand how annoying it is to deal with.

definately, give us some feedback stardock.  it says paid members get faster speeds, but all i get is faster than dial-up, sometimes.  it has been a long long time this has been going on and not a word about it?

Welcome to the club, I have similar issue. I use FF and there is a compatibility issue with it on this site.

I think Stardock is working on it, it would be nice to have some feedback tho!
