I Hate days like this!
Monday, October 6, 2008 by MadDeez | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
every morning, i open impulse looking for updates to certain stardock apps. today was another one of those days that there weren't any updates. darn it! they should release an update every day even if there isn't anything new added or updated to/in the previous version of the app. just change the build number and i'll be happy. i'll think i have something new, anyway. i'll be swearing the new features kick ass even though no new features were added! LOL
maybe i'm just bored ![]()
ok, it's time to order some ![]()

Yup, It's a crying shame orright... with such a shiny new piece of technology such as Impulse, you'd think they'd at least put something up on a daily basis to show it off... even if it were just pictures of Stardock staffers wearing their tinfoil hats.
Come to think of it, which I do, where are the tinfoil hats we were promised... the ones that are supposed to protect us from government conspiracies, the Joe User Political Filter and alien probes? Surely they've had more than enough by now time to have perfected them and have them available for download. And yeah, being those aliens are sneaky buggers if they can't read your mind through your tinfoil hat, a welcome addition to the technology would be tinfoil drawers for that 'other' probe.
Personally, I'd like to see an update to fences... higher fences to keep out the kangaroos... not to mention Google ads and data miners, spyware and those Homeland Security bots. I'm working on a curried cabbage methane project as an alternative fuel source and don't want them getting the idea I'm bomb building or anything.

no better feelin than downloadin a new toy. Ok well no better felling cept, helpin folks resolve issues, bringing a new skinner or skin user in to the community, being part of a great community like WC.. ok so dl's are only part of the picture.. but a integral part of the picture none the less. Speaking of pictures, I have some of certain staff in tin foil hats, that were used to keep mind control out. I would have worn one, but then it would have been a waste of a hat.. um where was I going with this?...what was the question?......ooooh a new DL..
**wanders off, to grab the new download***

Well I certainly wear one, and it's not a waste... got too many secrets to keep from Stardock... and if they're wearing them as well there's less likelyhood of 'em ever finding out that I still got a copy of StyleXP, or that I'm playing around with a circular dock from another company. ![]()
Oi, HG, I know you're a Wizop n' all, but this is just between you and I OK!!! ![]()

there needs to be a full-time psychiatrist employed by stardock to monitor these forums and administer professional advice/help when needed. if such a position is filled, some of you guys would be on the short list of people needing immediate help.

What d'yer mean.. on the 'short list'??? If that position is filled, I no doubt would be at the very top of that list...in bold type to ensure I am not missed.

on one front, it's going to be a bad day since there are no updates on impulse.
on a second front, it's a good day because i don't see my name in the obituary column of the local newspaper

Good bloke.... now that's the spirit. Come to think of it, which I do, I've even forgotten what I... er, what was it again?
And you're right, ID, there's a conspiracy orright! The last thing I remember is somebody saying to watch the watch, watching it sway from side to side a vaguely hearing something about StyleX.... something and docks something... er, um.... and waking up in front of my PC/keyboard writing.... er, something I can't recall. That's right, somebody hypnotised me to say Style... uh, something or other and.... oh bugger, it beats me.
Oh how I hate days like this.... ![]()

Technically, you would never see your name in the obituary column...unless you were Steve Jobs
