Skinning Vista Sidebar Background?

Any tutorials on how to skin the sidebar background and how to install them?

Do you mean through Sidebar Styler or through WindowBlinds?

Theres a Diamond Sidebar folder in the WB directory.. overwrite images, change the code to match.. done.

Actually it's very easy. If you open WB config and chose sidebar you can create your own. I found a little trick in doing it.
I made one for Rapture and Sirus just to name a few

Oh and I forgot the best one Aero Metal. I even did a mouse over for the word Gadget.

Gives me nothing but problems that way. Most of the time, upon reapply, it doesn't apply the changes. I dl'd Sidebar Styler and have been having no problems creating/applying since. Be interested to know your trick if you're willing to share. PM me if you want.

Yea doesn't apply all the way for me either. I go in the system tray and shut the sidebar down and then restart it. What's nice about using WB is all you have to do is create a skin and then you can work on it from the folder it made in the WB folder.
The trick is, when I bring it into PSP I rezize the image. Normally it's 150x800. I make it large as the height of my screen which is 1200 and the width I make 160(because some gadgets are wider than others. As you can see in AeroMetal the clock is overlapping the edge(I fixed that).
The reason I do it that way so it looks like it's sitting on the desktop rather then going from the top of the screen to the bottom. No secret really.
