Help me help a friend.

I know when the last 'help a member' post was put up that WC didn't want it to become commonplace, however, a good friend of mine and a great artist (basj) is in a bit of a bad position and I could not live with myself If I didn't do everything I could to help him out.
I'll keep it short, Ive posted an article on Maxstyles about it and will not make a big deal of it here on WC, If you could, stop by, have a read and bless you if you can be of any assistance at all.. even just verbally would help.

Basj....I hope things are looking up for you soon.....what a long time member of the community you are...since 2001.....thanks for all your generous skinning contributions and I’m glad to have the opportunity to help out.....

John if I use the "Donate" button on Maxstyles home page does the money go to Basj?

You could, but it would probably be just as easy to send straight to his account at the address that I listed in the aritcle, that way there isnt two sets of xfer fees attached... either way, it will get to him.

Yup he is a very good caring best friend I ever know in my lifetime.
Even thought we never met but his doing all his can to help me. Thanks you very much John Gordon. Hope someday somehow I will return the favor to you. 
And for the rest of my friends here. Thank you for being such a nice and caring community, we need these kind of community to be on all around the world. Less war more caring..

I had no idea how long Basj has been around til vStyler showed me some ancient WB skins he had done. 
Seems like Wincustomize has a candidate for Master here.
Also,Basj has a WB for sale at Maxstyles so buying that is as good as donating...and you get a cool WB skin.

And a great WB skin it is. Well worth the $4.95 you pay for it not to mention being able to complete the set by using it with all the free matching stuff he posted here on Wincustomize.

Well...I'm going through some really rough times myself and I already bought the EzMAx skin...Soooo....if anyone here would like it that can't afford it...the first person to find my email on this site and send me an email I'll buy it for you to help Basj out.
And as a personal note to Basj. Basj buddy...I really wish I could do more to help you out...but I just had some health problem rear it's ugly head at me which resulted in losing a job as a result of the health problem...and then I went from spending $300 a month on gas at my second job to $900 a month and that on top of the medical bills piling up and having to pay out of pocket for my medication plus my basic bills is killing me. And the way things are going I may be having to take a break myself soon if things don't start getting better.
And Basj...Your skins are just as good as anyone else's here...it has nothing to do with anything but everyone struggling with money right now...not with your talent...this is just not something you should count on for an income...a paying hobby yes...but an income to support a family...I'd so no. I can't imagine how hard it is in your home country to find work....but I really hope something materializes for you soon. And if there's any other way I can find a few extra bucks to throw your way I will.
