Rainlendar Graphics Gone!
Somebody help me please!
Friday, July 18, 2008 by Xiandi | Discussion: Skinning
I have a really strange problem...I created the 100 Rainlendar and uploaded it, only to discover that the graphice for the 100 Dark Rainy are the wrong ones! I planned on just fixing it and reuploading...but the dark graphics are not in my computer!
I had sent it to a couple of people before I uploaded, so I asked them if they had the dark rainy. One didnt have it any more and the other sent it to me......wrong one again.
Heres the kicker. I open the rainy file in C/program files/rainlendar/skins/100 dark, and it shows the wrong one...but when I load it on my screen it's the right one!
I have done searches for the graphics on my computer and cant find the right one. How is that possible? How can I retrieve it? It's sitting here on my screen, I've reloaded it a bunch of times, where is it then?
If you want pics, take a look at the screenshot. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=1117&libid=37 That's the way it's supposed to look and thats what it looks like on my screen.
This is what's in the file itself.

I'm so confused.
I'm using the older version of Rainlendar.

Remember also when you create the zip to delete thumbs.db from the folder so its not in the zip. Zips with thumbs.db in don't (shouldn't) pass moderation

When your making the Rainy always make a folder first in the Rainlendar skins. Then add all your graphics to the folder ...rainback, message back, buttons etc .
This way they will be in the right pathway.
If you had opened the skin by right clicking on the Rainy >> go to skins >> Edit current skin >> Skin Configuration > Background Tab > then click on the browse and usually it will open to where the graphic is. If you had done this while your graphic was in another part of your computer and not in a folder in Rainlendar...then you will see the proper graphic on your desktop while others will get whatever the ini pad says.
If your like me you might make 10 backgrounds before deciding on which one you want...
Im just assuming that you may have added graphics through the Skin Configuration >> Background Tab
Others use only the Rainy ini and never open the configuration.
Im just offering an explanation to what may have happened.
I have confused myself on many occasions when Ive made several substyles.
