Greetings all,
Anybody using Thinkdesk out there. What do you think? Stable? Useful? Reviews etc.

Multiplicity Pro is not part of ThinkDesk (you get the normal version Multiplicity which only let you control 2 computers and doesn't have cut and paste of files between computers, only a shared clipboard). The normal version is already quite useful, and you get a hefty discount for the Pro version if you own ThinkDesk.
KeepSafe is also part of ThinkDesk, and a lifesaver: https://www.stardock.com/products/keepsafe/
The two other programs are less useful IMO and there already are replacements in Vista (for ThinkSync at least). ThinkSync and SecureProcess are still in beta.
Please note that ThinkDesk in itself is still in beta and so you're betting on additional programs being added to it. If you only want Multiplicity and KeepSafe, it's going to cost you less to buy separately today. If you might be interested by future additions, then ThinkDesk is definitely the way to go (as you will get updates for "free" until it gets out of beta).
BTW, if someone from Stardock is reading this, you might want to change the wording on the KeepSafe Buy page:

-KeepSafe
-Multiplicity
Hum, not really a great deal if presented that way

ThinkDesk is basically in perpetual beta.
So there's really only two programs of note with it:
1) KeepSafe
2) Multiplicity
I'd like to see Multiplicity Pro given away as part of ThinkDesk and the other two components basically withdrawn and then existing users given coupons to get other stuff since they're our most loyal customers.

I use KeepSafe and ThinkSync all the time and was disappointed to not see ThinkSync in Impulse. For this reason I have Impulse and StardockCentral installed. These together make quite the comprehensive backup plan!!
You will find a post from me here and there in the forums asking about their fate over the years. ThinkSync is for me the reason I got ThinkDesk (other than Multiplicity which I then also upgraded to pro)
When ever I look in the forums, there is very little chatter about ThinkSync, so I all but stopped looking. This will explain my apparent lack of support, but I love that program!!! It disturbs me whenever I see that it has been updated and then broken on my system. Later fixed again, but that blip keeps me wondering how long it will live.
My Thinkdesk faves in order of importance:
1)ThinkSync
2)Multiplicity (but I have pro now, so does it count?)
3)KeepSafe
... You know, I never needed to use KeepSafe to recover anything, but I like knowing it is there watching out for me. I absolutely rely on ThinkSync and have needed it often. It has saved my bacon several times.

1 - Vista Ultimate
2 - XP Pro
I run database software and a large amount of communication programs. Everything is secure with good firewalls, anti-virus and anti-spy protection. Use bluetooth and all with my cellphones and pda.
Have a place for another system which will be used for developing software and designs with VMware here soon as it is finished being built. Which will be 64 bit and be used for Windows and Linux programs with OS development. Oh and of course skinning 64 bit too!
Think Desk is a good set of programs and is well worth having. If your thinking of buying - I would. It can make things easier for you if you want to have a good safe setup for any system.
