  George Carlin passed away yesterday.

Remembered well for his "7 dirty words you can not say on televsion", I loved his sense of humor.  As the  hippy dippy weatherman... "Tonight's forecast: Dark. Continued dark throughout most of the evening, with some widely-scattered light towards morning." still makes me smile.

Many may not have liked his style or agreed with his outlook but he was funny as hell and usually had a good point.

I always liked him. I use a wav file of him in a few of my DX themes, for the sound of the recycle bin: "I'll be right back...I gotta take a dump!" lol Good ol' George.

A sad day...one of my all time favorite comics..

Same here. He had a way of making you laugh and, at the same time, think ... about the strange things in the world.

Ya know...I heard a recent live interview with George Carlin on XMRadio...and the last question he was asked was...what would you have engraved on your tombstone...his answer was..."He was here a minute ago!" Wonder if he'll really do it?

Really gonna miss that guy! (

I will miss him terribly!  He was the best at bit & humor; no subject was beyond him; religion, drugs, sex, death, political satire, word play and black comedy, nobody did it better!!!!!!!!!   RIP man......

Guess he's finding out right about now if there is a God or not.

George never prayed to God...........he prayed to Joe Pesci
