How do you make a screensaver?

I would like to make my own screensavers but do not know how. Can anyone help me?

I make my owns.....
1. An animation in a .mov format.
2. Import it into adobe flash and export it as .swf movie.
3. make it with Screen Time Media.
It works for me, hope it works for you.
