Karma

Saturday, May 10, 2008 by WOM | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Karma.....If ya have to ask for someone to give you Karma, that makes it meaningless.  If ya have to PM someone for Karma, that makes it meaningless.    I can see this turning into another mess... Some kind of bragging rights...Something on the order of the rating system.  If ya have to ask for it, ya don't have any.

I think asking for karma points is ridiculous.
So give me some without asking.

I think Karma should be earned not by begging someone to give you some.

That was the intention behind the system. You earn Karma by your actions.

You earn Karma by your actions.

Or by posting dirty pictures of yourself.

Er, did I just say that? Never mind.

SanChonino reminds himself to suggest that over on JU . . .

Here's the downside.
1:People with high Karma are more helpful than those with less.NOT
2:People with no Karma aren't helpful at all.BS
Helping others or posting a good comment on a skin or article is "digging" for Karma. You just shut me up!I guess feeling indebted to this site, wanting to help others, supporting Stardock, or admiring that which I can't create is somehow "suspicious" How about you just take that crap off of my profile?I'll settle for a "0" (

The karma system is universal across all accounts.  There is no opt-out option.

It's a "fun" point thing.  They don't do anything.  You can't rate people down.  If you don't like/care about the number, ignore it.

Hehe, if I get a karma or not, I'll still post and help if I can.  Been doing that for many years.  But, I'll not beg for them, thats not right.
