If you paid your taxes this year you automatically get it. No forms to fill out.

Yeah, the hook is to get people to think they will get it quicker by posting their bank account info on the form located at the link.

Wonder how long it would take the phisher to empty those accounts?

unless:
you used a TIN and not a SSN or were claimed on another return or owe any back taxes, child support, student loans or anything else Uncle is required to collect first or you were in on a scam to hike subscription fees by telling the masses it would be good for them when you were really buying Porches

Uncle doesn't email anybody unless specifically requested

I heard it was a legitimate business deduction. Employee incentives or something like that.  I don't even get junk e-mail ( but thanks for the heads -up.

also watch for things in the postal mail.

I've received two letters in the past week from "debt collection agencies" wanting to take the opportunity to settle my debt for 50% of the original amount now that we are getting this stimulus check.

Checked into both of them and both were claiming that it was a debt they bought from major phone companies. Problem is these phone companies are not even available in the areas I've lived.

Always someone trying to scam ya.
