Learning about "skins"

I just recently started reading and working on making my first skin, since i am really interested in this, i realized just how much time and effort you guys put into creating a skin, so i will keep plugging away,hopefully with some tips and help from you guys

what skin are you currently working on?......
my tips are: download yr favourite skins and take them apart and see how it was made ect..
always skin how YOU want to skin.....
Take yr time when you skin.....its not a race....
ciggies and cola are great sidekicks on those lonely skinning nights....(joke)

and as Kitty said, skin for yourself, not everyone else!
Also, if you have questions, etc., post them here....there are plenty of us here to help!
And finally...watch out for the skinning addiction...it happens to all of us!
