Hyperdesk

So with Hyperdesk just around the corner, is this finally some competition for WindowBlinds? How well will TSF and Stardock play together? I know TSF used to contribute here, but they don't show up much anymore, at least with content. I'm anxiously awaiting the release and can't wait to see DarkMatter. Hurry up Jeff.
What are your thoughts?
*UPDATE: Hyperdesk is live. Go check it out and leave your constructive comments about it here. (Notice I didn't say "only leave your good comments or bash it". Constructive comments can be positive or negative but should be supported with facts.)

Ok I wasn't going to get into this thing at all (but its been sooo much fun reading it). However this comment does in an abstract way pertain to me. Bebi was quite instrumental in the creation of the Crystalline. Probably on the same level as Jeff is on TSF stuff. She has been using skins for a very long time and has a very critical eye for what she does and doesn't like.
I'm not going into anything else in the 'flame war' 'FUB' or whatever else you want to call it. My opinion is vStyler has a point in that the free theme seems to lack some creativity on the buttons and other inner control points. It might have been a design decision and approved by the clients, thats all well and good. Its not my taste and obviously not that of some others as well. As for the lack of showing these elements in the screenshots, hey whatever, I don't care. I'm not the target clientele for the product either. I respect TSFs adventure into the 'quick skinning, theme management' realm... all the power and luck to you.
But, people are going to have an opinion and to say their 'opinion' is wrong is wrong in itself.
As for the competition... hell lets see KoL and Billy get in there under the TSF banner (or ever their own). Shouldn't take to long time skinning masters to whip something up right?

Way to go Jeff, insult a lady on the way out.. classy.
Before I initiate my own self control and go to bed I just want to say that everything I have said stems from what you have said in the past Jeff.. Bragging on yourself isn't a crime but doing it at the expense of others shows extremely poor character.. it appears as if you want to bully your way around.. well.. people remember that.. and you can be assured no one appreciates it.. what they do appreciate is someone smackin' the bully back right between the eyes.
If your core attitude was better.. you would be even more successful than you are. As smart as you seem to be, you really fail in this area.
When all is said and done we are judged on what we do in life..what we do for others and how we treat them... not what we have accumulated. He who has most toys, never really wins.

Is this my first day?
This is a shot of my desktop and I gave credit were credit is due.
If you want to tell someone to take it down? Fine, but it's still a shot of my desktop. On my day off.
If I upload a "pink" Screenshot version, I guess that would be in violation also.
Please, feel free to use me as an example. No hard feelings...

Just what I've been saying. Nobody will head it though...Shame because this was intended to be a friendly debate not a debacle.

If it wasn't taken so seriously,I'd use the report button on your smug ass,You are hindering my enjoyment of this site, which I have paid to support.
These people on WC are helpful, talented and fun to be in contact with.
Far more than I can say for you.
Why don't you just go back where you belong.Everyone has made their point, time to move on.
I now wouldn't put hyperdesk on my PC if you were giving all of them away. You have no class.

I dont really give a hoot who has earned the biggest contracts here, i just enjoy the work that has been put out, from both parties (TSF and Non TSF).
So take your sour grapes somewhere private
Time for a spliff i say...

I offer you free advice on how to improve your public image.
Advice 1. Muzzle your CEO. He is your own worst enemy.
Advice 2. You reap what you sew.
Advice 3. put up real screenshots of your work. You will keep getting accused of deceipt as long as you don't present your work as it actually looks on real computers.

Seems a lot of folks in here just want their 2 cents jibe because they have something against Jeff, rather than the software. I don't care for the fact that he publically insulted some of the folks I work with at Stardock Design, but I can look at their work objectively, without thinking I'm some authority on design, and say I think the Disney theme looks fantasic. It has some of the nicest icons I've seen.
Every time someone here thinks they're firing some kind of smug shot or retort against the software, it does reflect badly on Stardock and Wincustomize, as if we condone people being shitty to each other on here over some ones and zeroes. And of course if the thread gets locked when it gets as bad as this, someone still gets made out to be the bad guy.

Hyperdesk was hyped. Evaluating it is fair. Being asses is not.
Carry on.

Having the CEO come to my favorite site and insult me,or the people I consider my friends was not the best move for a company that wants me to spend my money on their products, imo.
The fine people that work for TSF deserve better leadership.Good luck with Hyperdesk. There may be room in the market for it,but not on my computer.

True. We should be treating this thread as any other on here, and that goes for TSF, too. Bashing on people is not acceptable, no matter what. So, let's try and keep it civil and a discussion instead of a flame war.
