Thinking About Getting A Wincustomize Subscription?

I am thinking about getting a subscription but I am not shure if it is worth 20 bucks. That is not that much if I think of it as Helping the Wincustomize Site but If I dont get a subcription I am going to buy about $20.00 in skins? I know that You get the browser and some other stuff but to those of you who are a subscriber.... Is it worth it? Is the browser cool? What do you like most about haveing a subscription? Thanks so much guys and I am sorry that I am always up in here with silly questions! LOL

You'll be supporting the site and you'll get some respect. Especially if you remember to give some respect. There's also some free premium suites that come with it that are cool. These themes are called subscriber resources. The 2 newest WC Select and RIP 2007 are very cool!

You also get no ads, a personal photo album on your personal site, the WinCustomize browser (I've never used it), and so on.

I'm a subscriber, and as I mentioned I've never even used the browser, that isn't why I got it. The selling point for me was the WC Select skin that only subscribers get. Plus the fact that I know I'm helping out a site I visit everyday and has vastly improved my overall computing experience.

These 2 are also big +'s. It's most always no adds. The site sometimes has net gremlins.

Ok well I guess I will do it then. The reason I couldnt decide is because i really wanted some premuim skins but if a skin comes with it then I get BOTH! Yay.

Do those one adds pop up when you hover over the green words? I hope not because that is the most annoying thing EVER! I hope that the subscription takes care of that.

If you still see those after subscribing, remember to clear the cache and delete cookies. Should take care of it unlesss......

RobJK, another great thing is once you buy the WC sub, you can purchase two more years for the price of one. I subscribed ($20) and then extended my sub for 2 more years ($20). I've got a sub through Oct. or Nov. of 2010, all for a little less than $40.00.....can't beat that!
