Dear God...Am I the only one, or does the site seem to be moving so slow it's going in reverse?

Also, for what it's worth, lots of either duplicate posts or posts just not there after the long waits. On the times the post is not there, more often than not, there is a post or two by others that was not there previously.
As if simultaneous posts by different people are 'confusing' the servers
It's becoming standard practice to copy my post before hitting Post Reply ... just in case

It's been dreadfully slow for the past week or so - on and off. Several times I have just given up and gone elsewhere. I lost count of the number of times it took OVER TWO MINUTES for a thread to load or to post a reply. I've got a high speed connection and when I went to other sites they loaded instantly. Same if I swopped browsers. Very poor, very poor indeed.

If you're using Firefox, I highly recommend the Auto Copy plugin, works like on mirc (when you select something, it automatically copies it). You can set it to deselect after it's copied (like mirc) or stay selected. That way, when you write up a post, all you need to do is right click > select all and it will automatically copy everything.

I always have.
I learned long ago that typing comments into a site's forum [any site's forum] can be frustrating if/when the site goes down...or the page fails...whatever.
It's been quite standard procedure since around 2001....and like any sort of 'backups'...remember the old saying....there are only two kinds of Computer users...those who backup, and those who cry...

when i first visit the site to look at the skins and such i have almost no problem...but if i try and go to the forums it loads slower then constipation for some reason.

Yeah.....forums are kinda wonky for me right now....double post and all...and everyone once in awhile I get the "Egads! The forums took a hike...do you want to exist or go back in time?" page.
