task bar not changing

i know this is silly and im sure there is a simple answer but i cant figure it out..I have changed skins several times and the skins change everything just fine but my start menu remains stuck on a skin i used several weeks ago..any idea what the problem is

In Windowblinds, go to the 'settings' tab. There is a checkbox under 'Skinning Settings' that says "ignore the taskbar and startmenu....." is that checked?
