Mustang For MyColors Released
Thursday, April 3, 2008 by Elsius Saint | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
Stardocks released Mustang suite for Mycolors.
While it’s fair to say the IconPackager look very nice, but the windowblinds start menu looks very plain except for the Car found at the very top; most likely it is animated and that’s good.
We barely get really highly inspired suite with great graphics as such “kryptonite”, “Universe Metal Suite”, “The Incredible Hulk Suite”, and “Turbo”. Ha! Talking about “Turbo”, imagine Mustang has those nice graphics found in Turbo, it would be great.
All my colors Collegiate, NBA, NHL, look the same except for the logos. They look professionally made, but boring to see all look alike.
Mustang looks good, but if it was taken to the same level as Turbo skin…
Other problem is you purchased all the Stardock software, yet, you have to pay $20 for a suite.

I agree with tiomio . .if I owned all of them I might think they all looked teh same . . but for the collegiate series, the NHL, or the NBA . . you usually only have one favorite that you are going to buy and that one will look so much better than Luna or what your friends have. And really . .is that U. of M. sweatshirt THAT much different thatn U. of W.? No, except for the color and . . what? The logo.
Great work Stardock!!

Unless I'm mistaken isn't MyColors free and then you just pay for the suites?
And if you've paid for

It's not a "problem" . . it's a market!

Your critique would probbaly have more merit should you actually try the skin rather than judging a screesnhot.

You don't understand what you read
I'll break it down to you like this.
Owners of Object Desktop should not have to pay $20 for a MyColors suit. By the way, there's no discount when you buy a MyColors suite until Stardock releases OD 2008.
The reason Stardock charges $20 for each suite is because they also charge you for the included software within the MyColors suite. I think owners of OD should not have to go to MyColors website to buy those suites, but instead use the shop link above to get the suite at our NORMAL price.

I don't just want to try it, I want to get it without paying for the software all over again.

The link you provided want me to add my Object Desktop Serial. Is it a process for special
discount registration?
But Wait!
What have I told you about practicing law without a proper license? When you get in trouble, don't say you know uncle Elsius.

One word: Licensing

You don't understand what you read
Since they already showed you were wrong about that, we'll just leave it at that.
If you disagree with the price Stardock is charging for their products there is a very simple solution.
DON'T BUY THEM
Maybe if we all complain how we don't think things should cost so much then we can get gas and milk back down to 25 cents a gallon

I'm pretty sure people don't often appreciate the hidden costs involved with commercial-based works [as found in the MyColors Suites].
Purchasing rights to release legitimate approved proprietary works can wear out the zeros in your accountant's keyboard...![]()

If you mean licensing in regard to the corporate branding, that wouldn't apply to the 'inspired' themes would it? They are priced the same.
I am not questioning the pricing at all, just making an observation.

The reason for the need to enter your serial, is to verify that you own Object Desktop, and are entitled to the discount.
I hope that clears up any questions/confusion.

If they were all different, they never would have gotten them completed in the time frame that they did. Plus, most people have a favorite team that they would want a theme for. They probably wouldn't want to get all of them.
