Goodbye Mr Hyde...............
Thursday, March 20, 2008 by Vampothika | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
Dear Everyone here at this community....
Last year I reckon i acted like a real mr hyde, i let my darker side get my betters and to be pretty frank, i was just obnoxious, rude, a boat rocker and just a plain ass......
From this year, its going to be different, I want to be a posative role model for wincustomize and stardock. My goal is to
always put a posative comment forward, hold back silly and daft ideas and comments, keep peace and just be helpful to everyone possible.
I hope everyone who i may have offended last year can forgive my disgressions, and turn the page with me and start afresh.. I know this post is probably completley unecessary, but I would just like everyone to know what I am doing.
Its time for me to become a better Jekyll

No biggy here Kitty! If you feel you need to be forgiven for what ever it was...consider yourself forgiven, your absolved, say 3 hail mary's...now go to bed and forget all about it I've seen far worse...uh...what was it now that you did? I forgot!
And finally...be positive...but above all...be yourself. Would be a pretty dull place if we all sang the same tune. Someone needs to rock the boat from time to time.
OK...I'm done now.

I think a lot of it is to do with feeling a part of a community. Once you make that transition all of a sudden things don't look so bad, you feel a part of things instead of an outsider and want to join in, instead of being critical. It's a natural progression most people go through, whether it is here or at any other site.
Well said.

From one bipolar person to another....IT"S ALL IN YOUR HEAD!!!! I usually don't go spouting about the power of positive thinking, but in this case...it works.

Hmmm, if you are bi-polar, shouldn't you be frank and earnest?

I used to think similiar things but after awhile, I got comfy with the whole crowd and realized it was very far from the truth.

Kittymalone,
Please don't , that's what makes this place fun, is reading the silly ideas and daft behavior inbetween the important stuff.
sometimes ya just gotta cut loose.
and for a cat, I gotta say I don't mind you at all (VvvV) (too bad they didn't make a new smiley for the wulfn grin.... that'd have been cool.)

I disagree NT, what I said ain't too far from the truth. I feel comfy here or I wouldn't come here but that is not my point. Being comfortable with a certain group of people does not mean that you have to change to fit in with them. What I am saying to Kitty is that she is very cool as she is and only she can define that coolness. She shouldn't let others define who she is.
always put a posative comment forward, hold back silly and daft ideas and comments, keep peace and just be helpful to everyone possible.
That is politically correct but I've never seen you say anything that was bad and I read this shit all the time. Don't change because you feel you'll fit in better. Please.

A cute and cuddly kitty? Dunno about that, I kinda like a bit of rough...
It's interesting that a lot of the more senior members here didn't start out how they might have hoped. It shows first impressions are not always right and people can change.

It's a great feeling, to feel a part of something, and an even better feeling to make that something better for others
