So is Impulse replacing SDC? It seems kind of strange to have two apps that do the same thing.

angus1949, we do have Next and logon buttons but probably due to your DPI settings or resolution they are gettings drawn off screen. Could you please let me know what DPI and resolution you are running at.

T-Man, I'm running 96DPI and 1680x1050 resolution.

Newest little glitch after installing Impluse and updating apps from within. MSPaint is all borked up now....shows up in task manager processes but won't actually open up.

When installing this it asks to connect to "vip1.cdn.cachefly.net", as well as address' which are related to Stardock (38.98.152.155 etc),the "vip1.cdn.cachefly.net" I understand is a adware/spyware address. If I deny the installer access to "vip1.cdn.cachefly.net" via my firewall it fails saying that it cannot download updated files. Is SD knowingly using an adware/spyware address and if so is that how I got the trojan in the first place and had to format?

That is incorrect ..... Catchfly is a Content Delivery Network.

Works great on Vista Ultimate x64 for me,except on install Kaspersky antivirus detected 2 http file download viruses on install.

I treated these as false positives(I hope!)

For those with issues with SkinStudio 6 download issues, please try again. We have updated the files on the server to resolve the issue.

raisinjack: It looks like Kaspersky is just warning you that a zip file contains an exe and it cannot open that zip to scan those files as the zip is password protected.

One of the things that I really liked in SDC was the ability to sort what applications are currently installed and what is available. I don't see that functionality in Impulse though. Is it available or planned?
