Ok now that I did the update that was in SDC SKS6 is showing up in Impulse. But I did just notice that in Impulse under the My Desktop it is showing Bootskin as available when I already have it installed and also it isn't showing LogonStudio for XP at all and I also have that installed.

Here's a question for anyone who would know. When updates to the beta release of Impulse are issued how will we be notified?

Rebooting didn't help..

Worked great on my office computer but at home it loaded fine the first time, I clicked update Skinstudio and it returned an error, then would not get beyond "Retrieving Latest Information" on multiple restarts/reboots. So I uninstalled > rebooted > deleted the folder in user directory > reinstalled.....still goes unresponsive during "Retrieving Latest Information" XP SP2 current updates.

The only 'issue' I have with Impulse is that it's displaying some of my registration/serial numbers as 'free', unabling me to (directly) update those applications.
Manually entering the correct serials does work, but they won't 'stick'

Here too. Entered all my registrations on the registrations page and they were all accepted. On restarting Impulse they were no longer registered.

Quoted the wrong post above.
So here it is with the correct quote.

1. I use Trend Micro Internet Security 2008. I get an alert that Impulse is trying to change my IE settings. Why... I don't want anything changing my IE settings! I will try to find some more details on this.
2. I don't see any options to change where the start menu shortcuts are created. I like that feature of SDC. I can always move the shortcuts manually if needed. Minor thing.
3. Impulse found an update to DesktopX pro that SDC did not. 3.49h(a).020?
Overall, I would like to see the end user have more granular control over the app.
It looks nice though.

That's the problem........ I have no OK button.

EDIT: Allright, I'm an idiot............ pressing the Enter key works... dOH!
I'm in!

When I first installed and then started Impulse in the bottom left corner of the interface it was showing the progress of it loading and showed there that there was an update for Impulse then popped up asking if I wanted to install the update.
