Orright, So Where'd They Go
threads dissapearing into cyberspace?
Tuesday, March 18, 2008 by starkers | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
What's more, the buttons to access past pages for each category are also missing.
So... the question is, where's the 'blank of Borg' thread... and the 'Joe User is Joke User' threads.?
Oh, and the previous pages buttons? I had thoughts on ressurrecting a thread from the days when Moses was a boy.

Has it always been in the "Site Issues" category?
And more interesting . . the forum search now goes to Google {but searches the sins of a solar empire site}.

Yes Zu, I put it there on purpose! I wrote it at a time when there was a lot of negative posts on the site. So I figured a humorous diversion was a pressing site issue

There are weird things going on. I posted here earlier today - the post is now gone.
I feel like I'm wearing a red uniform...

Me? A double dose of insomnia... not only that, I can't sleep.
Gets that way sometimes that I don't sleep properly for days...
...then I fall in a screaming heap on the bed for a few hours
before starting the whole process over again... and again.
It's like me thinks I'm gonna miss something or something!
I blame my parents! You know, that old "Santa's coming tonight"
thing....and I'd sleep with both eyes open so's I didn't miss him.

.... first it's popular and long-standing threads disappearing,
now it's ads coming and going.
Was just getting interested in one of 'em, too...something about free viagra
Oh well, I'm just gonna have to be more selective about page refreshes.

I really feel for ya, Po`... messin' with a guy's personal stuff just ain't right.
Me thinks it's a Stardock/WC conspiracy to f**k with our minds... just to see who flips/goes over the edge first. And of course they pick on those most fragile of us...barely hanging to sanity by a thread.
A lot of people dismissed TheGuyPC's claims of a political filter... and of course Stardock denied its existence... but me thinks that filter really exists and does a whole lot more than just wheedle out one's political persuasions.
Yup, Stardock can read our minds... and combined with the viewing technology incorporated in the new IconPackager that can see when you're close to tears/pulling your hair out... and they pull stuff that's really important to ya just to see you flip yer wig.
It's not a form of entertainment I'd endorse/recommend... in fact me thinks it's downright cruel... tho it may have practical uses in determining the weak from the strong/sorting the men from the boys.
Personally, I think Stardock/WC could obtain the required information via online psychological surveys, but I guess they figure all that reading is only half as much fun and would rather watch us squirm.
I just hope the roving eye they've incorporated into IconPackager can't follow me to the john...where I have all my tantrums and do all my hair pulling these days.

And it's no accident, neither....thar be evil doers at wurk 'ere, doin' thar darned best t' rattle our cages/shiver our timbers....
Which reminds me! Pecky Parrot 'ave gawn missin' well. Said 'e wur g'wen t' fly ahead t' reconnoiter tha lay o' tha land o'er at Stardock. I'll bet me faithful ol' blunderbuss them thar parrot-nappin' landlubbers 'aves 'im locked in a cage fer amusement.
Won't 'em get a shock when 'em tries t' teach 'im t' talk.... 'e 'aves wurse language than a fishmongers missus, so thar'll be a few red faces about Stardock when 'e answers t' "Polly wanna cracker?"
