If this something that once out of beta that all users of Microsoft will be automatically upgraded to? I think that I have been asked to upgrade when using the Microsoft update pages, could be wrong.

Silverlight is a mass of distorted programing. Good thing my Virus protection caught it, or I'd be looking for a new PC. I hate to be fooled into downloading programs that do not work.....Soooooo I am here to say to say, if you want problems on your computer and have nothing else to do but to get it repaired....download Silverlight. If not, stay away from it!!!!!!!

I haven't had any problems with Silverlight. No viruses, no ad/spyware.

No issues with Silverlight here on Vista using Firefox. I haven't really gone to many pages using it yet but it seems to be a pretty cool piece of software.

At this point . . does Silverlight do anything for any of you?
I have the beta . . but other than the front page of Microsoft's download site haven't seen squat.  That page didn't do anything that amazing for me either.
