Explorer context-menus? Drag and drop?
Friday, March 7, 2008 by Tarrant1701 | Discussion: ObjectDock
I'm using ObjectDock 1.90.536 on WinXP SP2. I've added some folders into my ObjectDock. It works well, as I can then go to the dock, hover over the folder, then drill down through sub-folders to get to the files I need.
I have two questions about this, however:
1. If I right-click on a file or folder accessed this way through ObjectDock, I cannot call up a context-sensitive menu ... or any menu actually (ex. file open, print, delete, properties, etc) ... can ObjectDock do this?? Do I need a docklet for this?
2. Similarly, I'd like to be able to drag a file (say from my desktop) up to the folder icon in ObjectDock, navigate through the sub-folder tree, then drop it in its proper place ... can ObjectDock do this?
Thanks again!

Drag and Drop...
As of right now, I think there is a bug in drag/drop, it is not even possible to implement it with a docklet, before the drag and drop is made for a menu from the folder, we should just hope we get the drag and drop into the actual folder. The only folder which accepts drag and drop in OD is the recycle bin.
