Forums are Back Up
Monday, February 18, 2008 by Zoomba | Discussion: WinCustomize News
Huzzah!
We've completed our work for the night and the forums are back up and running. You'll notice a number of visual changes, and you'll hopefully notice improved speed and general performance.
Please post any issues you run into here. We've done a lot of testing this past week and tonight, but if something slipped through we want to know so it can be fixed quickly.
Items not functioning at this moment:
- Recent Posts List on the Sidebar
- Featured Articles
Fixes are coming for these tomorrow. For now, it's getting on towards 5am and we want to get some sleep ![]()
Thank you all for your patience.

The mouseover image is missing when hovering over Forums on the nav, and the smiley textbox seems to be displaying behind this textbox.
Also, as a reminder, the following will be disabled until each is tackled over the next few weeks:
- Watchlist
- Watch Post
- Email Post
- Post Icons (read, new, new reply)
- Advanced Search
- Honorifics
- Blog links on forum post subject lines. ala. "by JoeUser on Joe's Blog"
- Forum Summary Page
- Stardock Central Forum List
- Rating/Reporting of posts and replies.
- Print Mode
- Essential Articles
- Articles Awards

The line spacing is messed up if a line has a
in it.

It looks like the line spacing has been reduced and this is making things harder to read.

There also seems to be a missing image under my name on the above post.
Oh and it took a long time to post the last message.
EDIT: I timed this one and it took almost 30 seconds

Question will the forums be supporting PNG avatars? Transparancy would be nice with the 2 tone thread colors (Avatar looks great on white but not so good on the blue)
