Crack between top of taskbar and bottom of any maximized app
Friday, February 15, 2008 by fontinalis | Discussion: WindowBlinds
Does anybody know how I can get rid of the line between the top of my taskbar and the bottom of whatever app I'm using. It's just blank space and I can see my desktop wall through there.
Just kind of an eye catching/non ergonomic annoying thing is all. I'm using winxpprosp2. This has always been there with many skins (Diamond now), and previous versions of WB6 as well.
I already tried 'don't use per pixel borders' w/no change.
Cheers,

Now i'm in the right place.
By 'same canvas size' you mean to use the same image size right? I'm in Resizing Bar/image tab then I click edit image...but...when I click on edit image all i have is mspaint.
So I open the image in mspaint and get a little black line, zoomed in, poured brown in with the paint bucket, closed sk6 and my crack is gone.
THANKS AVMAN!!!

Hey Sir B., sure that is the easy way but when you have a skin with a nice resizing bar you then have to unlock taskbar to have full look. One that comes to mind is Copper Deck 2, much better look with task unlocked.

When taskbar is locked you can't resize it so no need for resizing bar

yeah, but on Dragon is seems to make no diff except for the empty space

I've had this a few times with Dragon. The white bar is visible even with the taskbar locked, which shouldn't happen with a normal resizing bar.
Mostly a re-apply works to restore the transparency.

with me - locking makes it go away - haven't tried the reapply yet

When I load some skins in WB6, like the new Dragon skin, I get an unskinned line "crack" between the browser and the taskbar? The crack spans the entire taskbar and any app that is fully maximized (i.e., browser, word, etc...).
