applying a skin

I installed a skin and tried applying it to my desktop, but it just goes to windows classic skin. What do I do??

I've learned to check peoples profile before I consider repling. This also provided some interesting info. The posters was having problems appling a skin that they installed, I took that as downloaded. Check the profile, 0 mb's downloaded, how you do that?

Philly, I think you did just fine. No probs, no worries. And for what it's worth...sounds like a crack version to me, too....
