What's the photshop technique called?

Thursday, February 7, 2008 by Lassan | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Hello everyone. I'm no photshopper, I'm terrible at it, but the other day I found a tutorial where you had a black and white picture but a part of it was coloured. I didn't bookmark it at the time but I want to try it out. Could someone please tell me what the technique is called so I can try and find the tutorial again?

Cheers,
Hassan.

This is another post that makes me wonder why I dont see a link to the wincustomize wiki anywhere on the site.

And right as i hit the button to post this i realized I've never clicked that nifty little button marked Help at the top of the page

Try the 2 'Selective Color' tutorials on this page for a couple of different techniques:-

Just to add a little to the mix, I've seen interesting results when the above is mixed with the cut/pop out techniques below:-

Zakai, honestly, that's the first time I looked at the Help Button.
But it didn't really help that much

Alternate Setting, that's exactly what I was looking for. Selective Colouring!
Thans a million!
