Skinners, Artists, Coders, and Testers Needed: Community Suite

Happy Birthday!!

After the success on the Troll Thumping Day Suite some members of the Mother Thumpers are coming together to create the "Happy Birthday Suit(e)".

I envision this suite centered around a DX gadget that counts down to your birthday. On your birthday the gadget will prompt you to download the most recent incarnation of the suite components so for your special day, your desktop will celebrate with you.

At this point we have some components assigned to artists but this is a collaborative project and welcome input and assistance from everyone. Please jump in and help out if you'd like.

It looks better in-use. And less crammed in. The 'a' is my logo to just show that I helped make it. As I said, I'm not very experienced, but there will be more features in V2.

I was going to wait until downloaded it but you were in a rush for feed back.

Re Logo it's a Community Suite it does not need personal Logos.

Good go for first try at it, and sure will improve with updates

If you want to jsut post yoru progress here as you go we'll be happy to help.  My original goal was to get a bunch of us working together to build something for the community.

You don't think that's enough for a first pass?  
I appreciate your effort and the fact that you are learnign as you go.  Good luck, have fun, and if you need assistance, we have soem really experienced people here that can help.

Thank you.  The biggest trick for me was figuring out the limitations of paint.net.  Transparency is your friend with Xion.  You can do a lot with it.

I'm using Photoshop Elements because I know how most of it works. But people I know have Paint.Net

I know it's kind of hard to see the running indicator in the preview, but I didn't know what else to do

Zubaz I tried for ya buddy but not to sure everyone liked the WB (or the clocks) so much judging from what I have seen so far
