Skinners, Artists, Coders, and Testers Needed: Community Suite

Happy Birthday!!

After the success on the Troll Thumping Day Suite some members of the Mother Thumpers are coming together to create the "Happy Birthday Suit(e)".

I envision this suite centered around a DX gadget that counts down to your birthday. On your birthday the gadget will prompt you to download the most recent incarnation of the suite components so for your special day, your desktop will celebrate with you.

At this point we have some components assigned to artists but this is a collaborative project and welcome input and assistance from everyone. Please jump in and help out if you'd like.

Thanks people. What will be amazing is Avman being able to apply it to the skin. That's the one thing I don't want to mess with.

No. When I get the taskbar done, I'll send it to him. I just need to know what he needs to apply the animation. A gif file, all the layers, or what?

They are still good. Let me get the revised taskbar up and out. The colors you're using are fine.

I will be making a new one. All I have is what I used in the taskbar.

I need the candle and winky in .png in individual frames.

*the canvas size for each frame should be the same width as the User pane in the start menu

*the canvas height should probably be 200-300 pixels

Great start menu, btw. Looks awesome!

And for what it's woth, I'm very disappointed that this was not ready for my birthday last Friday!!!

I haven't been here for awhile, I must say that I likes what I see, this will be one of those themes that a lot of folks will download. Great work people.

Just a small preview of what I made for fun. I think it can work fine for bootscrn, logon and wall. I know that There is a scope of making it better and I will retouch it again. Any suggestions?

Sounds good, you want it to appeal to all ages so simple birthday type fun is what you are looking for. I think, not sure what that is but then you are the artist not me. So sure you will come up with something good.
