Super Bowl XLII

that's 42 to the uninitiated.....

Super Bowl's over, NY Giants win 17-14. New England ends the season 18-1, which is too close to undefeated for my tastes (being a Miami fan, the only undefeated team in NFL history....).

Eli Manning is the Super Bowl MVP, which he deserves. It was a great game, hard fought with lots of defensive stands.

Congrats, Eli and the NY Giants. And thanks for putting a Miami fan at ease.....

Belichick showed how little class he has when he ran off the field when there was still one play. I'm glad those cheatin' Randy Moss lovin' gangstas lost! Boo Hoo Tom Brady.

Eli has come of age! Go Giants! NFC Rules!

Dang Giants!

Oh well. It'll be a long time before I see my 9ers in the bowl.

Used to like sports till they became a bunch of over paid whinners/drug addicts/all around bad example of athletes. I even saw where one player got paid some ridiculous amount of bonus money for "not" doing drugs one particular season. Is that what sports have become? You get a bonus for NOT doing something you shouldn't be doing anyway!? And what kid can even afford to go to a game...not that I would take one mind you...I can find way better role models elsewhere for that.

Sorry to burst anyones sports bubble....just been really disappointed in the direction sports have gone....just not fun anymore.

Giants played the best defense of any team in recent history. They earned it.

It's gonna be a grumpy day in New England today.

YEA YEA YEA the Pats lost, I'm not a Giants fan but I didn't want the Pats to win either. First time for a bother combo to win back to back super bowls, way to go Mannings

It was actually a good game for a change. Not decided before half time.

Glad to see Coach Coughlin get the win. Most Jag fans were sorry to see him go.

Well at least I still have the Daytona 500 and a long season of NASCAR to look forward to.
