I can not get Desktop X to work

I bought and have used Desktop X in the past. When i originally used the program, i loved it. My problem happened all of a sudden like. and i have no clue what to do to fix it. I open Desktop X, click on one of the many themes I have downloaded. And all I get is a pop up window that states...
"Buffer Overrun detected!
Program:...OGRA~1\Stardock\OBJECT~1\DesktopX\Desktopx.exe
A Buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's
internal state. The program can not safely continue execution and must now be terminated."
Anyone have any idea what this means or how to fix it? I've uninstalled the program many times. I just redownloaded the program today. Uninstalled, reinstalled, and still the same problem. Anyone with an answer can feel free to email me at my email address [email protected] Just so you know...the second digit in my email address IS a zero.
Appreciate anyones time wo bothered answering.
