DeskScapes provides animated wallpaper for all users of Windows Vista.
Animated wallpaper isn't just for Windows Vista Ultimate users anymore. With the release of beta 1 of DeskScapes 2.0 on Object Desktop, all users of Vista can use the hundreds of available .DREAM files here on WinCustomize as their animated backgrounds.
Object Desktop users also get some exclusive animated wallpaper content including four dynamic dreams (Water Dream, Earth Dream, Water Color, and Box Sample).
If you don't have Object Desktop, you can get it here.

Very nice to see that the small 5% extra CPU it uses when running disappears when an application runs full screen...

That's how Stardock usually does it's version numbering. Any .9x is actually a beta of the next version. So version 1.95 is a beta of version 2.

nVidia Driver 7.15.11.134 for a 8600M GT (it's a MacBook Pro).
Apple haven't updated the driver since Leopard's launch so can't do much there.
Usually happens after maximising an application or after UAC has taken over the screen.

No, this has nothing to do with DesktopX.
