What's wrong with you people?

I uploaded a highly superior dock the other day and it only has a two star rating. Don't you people rate when you download. Or are you all freeloaders? That dock background is much better than most of them on here. Apparently, if you aren't "mainstream" you don't get recognized. Whatever.

Don't worry too much about ratings and downloads. Skin for yourself, share what you want to share. Skin some more.

natas I saw your docks, didn't bother dl'ing. Thus I didn't rate.

superior? superior in what way? they look pretty simple to me. you're lucky they have a rating of 2 stars.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, especially when it comes to something as subjective as skinning. You may love Skin X, but I may hate it.
Because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them wrong and you right. As others have said, skin for yourself, and don't sweat it when someone disagrees with you.

What kind of rating did you expect? Your attitude in the skin description certainly put me off, and the quality of the docks were 'simple' at best. A flashy preview does not make your docks 'superior'. Since many people who use Object Dock also create themes, its best not to insinuate that their Dock backgrounds are of an inferior nature. Thus far, I'd give you a 1 star just for the attitude.
All that aside though, I hope you do continue making dock backgrounds... I too find them fairly easy to make, but lack the graphical abilities to really capitalize on that. Hopefully you fare better!

You exhibit nothing but 'tude and that will turn off professionals as well as casual browsers. Your dock was about as simple as they get and I'm surprised it took you 30 minutes to do what any of the professionals I hire could do in 30 seconds.
So, the next time you are going to throw down the gauntlet, not just once (in your descriptive text) but twice (with this self serving drivel thread), you might want to bring your A game.
Cause if that's you "bringin' it", enjoy your time in the minors, kiddo.

natas2 - I give you credit for creating something but you should not brag about these docks. They are ok but they are nothing special. Have you really looked at the OD library? How could you possibly say that your docks are superior to anything there? You need to GROW UP. All you are doing is throwing a glamour fit. You won't get any respect at all like that.

Highly superior? I wouldn't say so ... run of the mill would be my evaluation. I didn't rate them, but 2 stars seems about right to me.
