I suspect CursorFX only shows in the Misc. section of SDC for those who have purchased the beta

Correct.

So ... anyone out there know if us beta testers can get anything except the first beta?

Latest beta is for those who have purchased or paid for upgrade from CursorXP.

Thanks, Cavan

Unfortunately, the first beta is a little too buggy to inspire me to buy it.

Hey Pic; beta 2 is a bit better. One main bug, reported on bug thread, when working on an image in PSPX, click effects are applied even when PSPX tool set cursors being used. Causes PSPX to almost grind to a halt.

Not true, I bought the beta and Cursor FX is not even listed, I don't know what everyone is talking about, but I own the program and still have not seen any updates for it.

Do you have "Show pre-release versions" checked in SDC?

I had problems with beta 3 (cursor showing up under certain items instead of on top) I backed out beta 3 and restored using SDC to a previous beta. SDC now however still reports I have beta 3. The sig.bin file has a 1/9/2008 date. CursorFx has a 12/26/2007 date.

The sig is the activation file and that should be fine. You can always try a clean install of SDC just in case.

 -Run the file here: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/remove_sdc.bat
 -Restart your computer
 -Reinstall SDC from here: http://sdc.stardock.com/sdcentral_setup.exe

OK, I did what you suggested. However updating SDC does not change the sig file in the CursorFX folder. So SDC still shows that I have Beta 3 when in fact I'm on Beta 2.

I sent this info to the developers so they are aware of it. I will post anything they pass down to me.

It maybe because it's not selected in hide/show under view in SDC.
