Still smoke free.

You find yourself thinking more about what you are doing, giving up smoking, when you smoked you probably didn't think to much about smoking until you decided to give it up.
Get your mind on something else, this is where someone might suggest that you get a hobby, but you are a Master Skinner, gee I wonder what one could do.

Pretty soon you'll get disgusted at the way the car smells and clothes after sitting in a room with smokers. Day 4:
Gawd! I think about that, I'll hide in a sensory-deprivation chamber for hours!
That's how it's done!

Severe.
Well, one side effect Philly is serious loss of the ability to concentrate. I'm trying to work but its a bit frustrating, gonna start working out tommorrow before I turn into a pork barn.

Oh, and yes, lets not turn into a pork barn!

He'd destroy all the cigs in the world. Then he'd burn teh tobacco fields. Then he'd blow up all the manufacturign sites. If he were bored by then he might let the owners live . . but I doubt it.
Be. Chuck. Norris.

(worst effort yet - sorry)

Or it may be called 'Hanging for a Camel'... and the accompanying docks will have little puffs of smoke as they hide off-screen.
Speaking of little puffs of smoke, I disabled those on my CursorXP Plus cos I couldn't bear to see them on my screen and not try to inhale.... must've looked rather silly with my lips sucking up against the monitor.
All jokes aside, you guys are doing great and I'm really pleased for you. Those first few days are the hardest, and remaining smoke free is a credit to you both... to everyone trying to quit. Keep up the good work and you'll not be sorry.

OMG haha... hey thanks Starkers, the continued encouragement is appreciated more than you all may know..
This morning, found a half a cig in an ashtray someone had left... I picked it up.. walked back in my room.. picked up my lighter... then screamed... and threw the bloody thing in the toilet..I think maybe that was a small victory for me.. was incredibly difficult to do but I'm glad I can say.. I didn't light it.
Day 5 - 9:10 feeling rough, very lightheaded... but still..
Smoke Free !!
How is everyone else doing? Not seeing many updates

That was a huge victory for you, John

One of the really neat things about not smoking, is that you get to continually re-live for yourself the rewards of this decision.....whether it's the daily stuff, health, money, not having to worry about long plane trips or trying to find a smoking area when you're out etc... or the yearly stuff, like National No-Smoking days that you no longer worry about.
It's not about feeling smug, it's just realising that after all those years of trying, you stuck with it and came through for yourself.
Keep it up - I'm rooting for ya.

Well, it's not all that exciting, but you will notice.

Put my ashtrays in the blue box & they took them. Been smoking outside in -17C weather has been very good motivation. Will let you know when my first cig free day is and I'm crying myself to sleep and sucking my thumb.
