DOES THIS HURT?

Monday, December 31, 2007 by RoseNell | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Ok, I know the Title is misleading....

But I would appreciate if someone can tell me, Does having more then 2 browsers slow you computer down.
I have IE7 and Foxfire. I also am trying the new AOL. Not sure if I like it.

Thanks in advance.

Haven't heard of any problems with having more than one browser on your computer. Most people do. Can't even think of anything even having two or more open at one time. Good question though, don't think I've ever seen anyone ask it.

No, having multiple browsers does not slow down your system... well I suppose it could if you had several open at once, but you're not going to do that, are you!

However, if you feel your browsers are slowing things down, I suppose you could always check the batteries.

Yeah, my dad hates tabs for some reason and has like 10 windows open at one time...doesn't really affect anything.

i have 7 browsers installed on my system. each used for different things and they have not slowed down my system, even while using more than one at a time.

More than one throbber may slow down your computer I've heard, even with fresh batteries...
