I've read several posts lately about changes and updates that are either coming or proposed. As can be expected members of the community are voicing their concerns. It's always good to read peoples opinions or concerns, mainly because I may have missed something.
As I read through them though sometimes I find myself posing the question, to myself, then why are you here. I can imagine the response if I actually posted that as a reply..................oops.
Okay, joking aside, what did bring you here? Work, play, wanting to learn, or just to get that gosh awful Windows GUI off your desktop?

There is no better place to be (on the net)....there are many, many great characters, oodles of great skins and lots of interesting tidbits of information... but even more importantly, WC is a community that one feels comfortable, at home and welcome in.

I didn't know I was here - and by the way where am I again?
I just happen to trip through the door one day and then addiction set in and here I am still. I do find the personalities very engaging and there is much humor. Oh yeah and there is this little thing called talent that seems to be all over the place here.

Years ago the program "Windowblinds" came out for Windows 3.1 and it did the coolest thing; it allowed you to roll up your open window like a set of Venetian blinds. I have been hooked ever since.
Since I have been lurking around for a quite a while, I decided to come out of hiding and join the community.

That's what got me when I seen it on my brothers computer. I came here and and got the demo version of WB and downloaded my limit. What? There's a LIMIT! I got out the credit card and did it up right. And I might add, it's a comfortable place to hang out. Plenty of art and a wide selection of personalties

I don't think I would get too much disagreement in saying that based upon the great libraries here, subscriber perks, friendly community members and super support that the cost of becoming a subscriber is well worth the money.

i'm here because i have alot of artistic talent and was searching desperatly for someway to express that on my computer...haven't done much in the last year but have so many ideas...my head is about to explode...currently sucked into making beats mostly though, but i still come back here almost everyday...simply to take a load off, read the forums and see the new art. GO WINCUSTOMIZE !!!!
