After all of that I can run the Cursor FX Control Panel and everything loads and works correctly.
I'm running Vista business 32-bit, all hte latest patches and Nvidia 169.21 drivers.

This happens for all curser theme sets.
It bothered me enough to uninstall and reload CurserXP. (

The effects don't work no matter what I do. No option for recolouring or brightness/contrast like in CursorXP, only hue and transparency and that puts a limit to the colouring option in my opinion. Scrolling themes don't work when you have many themes installed (as I have). Clicking the scrollbar AND the scrollbar arrows jumps couple of pages of themes and holding the scrollbar gripper trying to scroll themes is almost impossible. The cursor disappear/flicker without any obvious reason like an app starting. Trail elements - I don't see any. Mirror and resize work but the 25%, 50% etc in CursorXP work much better and are easier to use. The program itself crashes from time to time when applying a new theme - no particular theme.
System: Windows XP Home SP2 + all available patches, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3,2GHz, 2GB of RAM, latest nVidia drivers 6.14.11.6375.
I feel like I've paid for an early Alpha version here

If I roll the mouse over the buttons multiple times, fast, the buttons keep flashing even if my cursor is not on them, to make up for the times i rolled over them too fast. Is this a bug?

Trying to set to dynamic shadow causes the cursor to disappear entirely. I have to kill CFX and restart it to correct the issue (even when I use control panel to reset to the default windows cursor, CFX won't change the cursor unless it's killed and restarted).
Also, when setting the smoothness setting fairly high, the actual cursor hotspot can lead the cursor image by a noticeable degree, when the cursor is moved fairly fast. While it corrects, it's a bit of an annoyance.
Can't navigate the list windows using the keyboard.
Scroll wheel scrolling works well, scrollbar scrolling sucks (Clicking the scrollbar arrow or trough moves the window the same amount, very little).
When clicking the 'Apply' button, even if nothing has been changed, the cursor reverts to default ugly briefly, before showing the selected cursor theme.
Still messing with the program, I'm sure there will be more
Nice program, but right now, it's pretty flaky.

None of the slider controls can be moved with the keyboard, and you can't move the slider by clicking in the slider trough.
Even though they're pretty self-explanatory, the various option icons in the highlighted cursor list item (info, preview, edit, etc.) should display a tip (and the ones like web and email should actually display the address that will be acted upon).
Deleting a cursor theme from the CFX cursors window doesn't properly update the list (the cursor image goes away, but the list item is still present). Restarting the app corrects the list, but this shouldn't be necessary.

When moving the mouse around very fast, CPU comsumption goes up. CursorFX takes up to 20% CPU speed then.
I'm using Vista Home Premium on an Intel Core 2 T7200 with a nVidia Geforce Go 7900 GS graphics card.
