CursorFX is cool, but I have one peeve....

Tuesday, December 18, 2007 by Antonak | Discussion: CursorFX

The feature to switch between CursorFX and the standard cursor (shift-ctrl-v)is the same as the feature to open the move to folder box in email applications. Is this configurable?

It seems CursorFX & CursorXP are two different things in SDC ...
I get CursorXP Plus, but it's shown as CursorXP as well as in the main "misc" program section as well as in the "Register - Misc - Products" with the serial i got when i bought it.

CursorFX is mentionned in "Register - Misc - Products" but i think unless you don't buy it, it won't appear in the program list in misc section.

Though what is the difference between CursorXP and CursorFX ?
Do the subscribers of CursorXP Plus have to re buy it ?

It's very confusing ...

Try uninstalling the software then reinstalling to the latest version. Let us know if you have the same issue.

There is no version of CursorFX and the webpage for purchasing it is still for CursorXP

I've tried to enter my serial of CursorXP Plus for registring CursorFX Plus program in SDC, and of course it doesn't work ...

I did not see any new CursorFX beta in SDC (only 1.90[b].018)even if I bought CursorFX plus.

I purchased CursorFX Plus a couple of days ago from store.stardock.com. Oddly the serial that appeared on the web page differed from the one emailed me from the button in SDC. Neither worked when I tried to register CursorFX Plus in SDC. I've sent an email to Stardock Support about that.

I see this also.

I think neophil is right.

Can someone verify this?

And if this is the case, how do we (those who haven't purchased it yet) get the next beta?

Can we get the next beta?

Seeing as the first release performs worse than CursorXP, there's no point in any further testing if this is all we have go by. I'll most likely switch back to CursorXP ... works better.

I have purchased it and it doesn't appear. There is no indication that I have CursorFX Plus, either, when launching the program. There are no sound features, something I like about the previous Cursor.

The download link and .exe indicate it's FX Plus but I can't see it anywhere else. It appears to me only to be the unpaid version.
