CursorFX is cool, but I have one peeve....

Tuesday, December 18, 2007 by Antonak | Discussion: CursorFX

The feature to switch between CursorFX and the standard cursor (shift-ctrl-v)is the same as the feature to open the move to folder box in email applications. Is this configurable?

When I use the Ctrl-Shift-V combination (outside an email program) the cursor simply disappears. Havne't tried it in an email program to saee if it behaves the same way.

What operating system? It toggles the whole thing on and off?

I have the same issue.
Vista Business 32bit

I *can* see the "other" windows cursors though (text bar, hyperlink hand, resize arrows), I jsut can't see the default pointer.

Try uninstalling the software then reinstalling to the latest version. Let us know if you have the same issue.

Can you send a dxdiag to [email protected]?

Press and hold the Windows key, press R and type the following into the Run dialog:
dxdiag

Once everything loads, please click the "Save all information" button and attach the output file in the email.

Not there, but CursorXP is ... and I've always had 'Show Pre-release versions' checked.

Tried 'Check application updates', refresh xml data and still not there.

SDC version is 2.49.510 build 162

Switched from US-1 to US-2 ... did the refresh, etc. ... still the same.

One note, which may or may not be pertinent. I have CursorXP installed (not the paid version), but SDC shows it is not installed, despite the fact that I clicked the 'Install' button in SDC back when I installed it originally.

However, rather than the usual SDC type install from within SDC, it took me to Download.com where I downloaded and ran the CursorXP installer.

CursorFX was also installed using an installer (from Brad's link anouncing CursorFX) rather than from within SDC.
