What happens when you double-click on a pack?
After that, close and reopen and try again using the "apply" button.

I like how when I double-click on something there is a "spark" left behind.  Very cool.

Since I can't use this program (not enough RAM). When someone makes a cursor using CursorFX, will I be able to use it with CursorXP?

You are asking if CursorXp will be upgraded to read both .CurXPTheme and .CursorFX file types?

No...Will I be able to use a cursor made with FX on my CursorXp free version? Are the file types the same?

edit: by your question it looks like the file types are not the same, and it looks like I wont be able to use them... unless the file type can be changed?

CursorXP cannot read the new .CursorFX theme format.

I am having trouble geting this program to work.

I have tried the suggestion's from Zubac but still no luck

Could the problem be the fact that it is a beta version of the software

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

Question:  Has the CursorXP gallery on Wincustomize been renamed to CursorFX and the image updated?

How will CursorXP users who are not or cannot get CursorFX going to know what cursors will work for both apps and which ones are CursorFX only?

Mmmm, I'm thinking I will hold off downloading for awhile, alteast untill I get an email because of having CXP Plus. Seems there are some questions here that need to be worked out.

Things I really like:
  • Movement smoothness.  I jacked that way up; it's like the cursor is floating.  Add that to. .
  • Shadow effects - easy to adjust.  I pumped up the Y so the cursor is WAAAY up there
  • The bullet hole effect
  • the Platinum cursor
  • Nice, big previews

Reminds me of a song. "Im getting new looks from a old lover again". I do like stardock but this is just one way to get more money. They could have done something with CursorXP but its been sitting there for so long. So what they will do is fix it so you cant use any FX cursors with cursorXP to make you upgrade. But then again sometimes a new version changes so much that paying for a upgrade is great. But someone asked what does FX do that XP dont? I dont want to pay more just for a new look.

So I'm a lil confused. Do I wait for an email from SD? I just bought CXP Plus about a month ago, so I guess I'm entitled to a free upgrade to CFX Plus? When I go to the site and put in my CXP serial #, it tells me I can upgrade for $9.95.....

It's really cool! I love the way the preiew works even though I haven't tried to build one yet. Pretty good job Stardock!

It doesn't 'make' you do anything at all.  I am still using Winamp 2.9x ....and have absolutely no interest in kJofol's WA3 or any subsequent version.

If it's good enough then it's good enough.  If people want the newest and/or best then go for it...upgrade.  It's a free market economy for exactly that reason.....
