Tabbed & Tabbed Only?

Background placement of Tabs

HEllo,

The backgrounds for ObjectDock backgrounds confuses me slightly.

What is the difference between Tabbed & tabbed only? I do not know wheather to place these tabs that are marked as tabbed in the tabbed or the tabbed only folder?
Please Help. Are non-tabbed the same as Zoomers? And finally, what is the Tiles folder used for.
The last time I set up objectDock I do not remember there being a tabbed & a tabbed only, nor a Tiles.

Using version 1.90.026 plus version.

Some skins are tabbed-only. They will say so in the description. Otherwise they would go in Non-tabbed or Tabbed. This seems to be the case in testing. I would make sure with the developers on this one just incase I am reading this wrong.

I myself have deleted all those extra folders....I didn't see a need for them. You though might want to keep them there since some people are using the .dockzip option to distribute the various docks...but I always transfer them to the folder mentioned below.

The best thing to do to avoid any confusion is to just place them all in your Programs/Stardock/ObjectDock/backgrounds folder and they will all work fine there. In the case of any docks of mine that you may use I would prefer you place them there so that you get use of all the graphics I use for them...such as the Plus/Minus images that are made to match the skins the docks are made for. Placing the docks in those extra folders will just give you the default Plus/Minus images that don't match the skins.

Slide tab? The normal one that loads on the first install? It is a non tabbed.

They all kinda slide so to speak...I'm assuming you mean the side dock...also referred to as a zoomer...that is a non tabbed dock. There is also a tabbed dock that has no actual tabs...they are incorporated into the top part of the dock...some are just text...some have some sort of image to let you know which tab you used last. Also...if you try to use tabbed or non tabbed dock as a side dock/zoomer they more than likely will not work properly because they weren't coded for that.
