I can walk!!!!

well i got my prosthetic leg this morning and i am now able to walk again (albiet with a limp and a little difficulty). now i can start retraining myslef to walk properly and maybe soon start driving the car again and living a more or less normal life.

That is fantastic news. Were you able to choose between a nice shapely girlie leg or did you opt for the hairy man leg? 
Really all kidding aside, couldn't imagine what you've gone through, and boy, what a great Christmas present. Not sure about you "status" but how soon do you start chasing after the young ladies? Oops, sorry.

I just wondered if you are going to customize your leg. Maybe give it a nice skin? At the very least, a nice wallpaper would be prudent.

Good News, Nimbin. If you ever need encouragement read the book or watch the film 'Reach for the Sky' - The life of a famous WW2 Pilot Douglas Bader who lost his legs in in a plane accident before the war. Amazing story of triumph through adversity.
