OD and System Tray Icons

I am currently running OD plus version 1.90 on Vista. I bought the plus version so I could get rid of my windows task bar and still be able to see my system tray icons. However, when I enable the system tray icons to be shown on my objectdock, I can't have my open windows displayed too. Is there anyway around this? When I minimize a program or folder now it doesn't show on my objectdock. But if I have enabled the option to show my open windows then I can't see my system tray! Ah!
Also, while this has nothing to do with the system tray problem above, I notice that every time I shut down my computer when I turn it back on, my settings for docklets have gone back to the defaults, like my digtial clock docklet I downloaded, and my rightclick settings too (although that has nothing to do with OD, or not that I know of).

Try shutting each of these apps down BEFORE you shutdown next time. Windows may be closign them before they have a chance to save their settings. Things should be fine after that.

Thanks for the help guys. I created a tabbed dock for my system tray icons and it works just fine now. And I will try the suggestion of shutting down the apps before I shut off windows.

It doesn't need to be a tabbed dock, a zoomer dock works just fine... methinks it looks a bit better using a zoomer - u can turn off the zooming also.

You'll need seperate docks for running tasks, and systray items. (remember with OD Plus you can have as many docks, and/or tabbed docks as you want)
