The new version 2.0.0.10 seems to be working a little better. Maybe they fixed some memory leak and graphics issues.

Beta 3 runs fine for me not that'd i'd know what to look for when testing for bugs anyway,so far however it seems to run pretty much the same as ff2,as for memory leakage i can't report any real major changes i've been gradualy getting worse year after year, don't laugh your not far behind

There are a few pointers going around the internet with a Beta 3 being mentioned. Not sure what is going on as their seems to be some confusion over whether Beta 2 is a release version or final version. I'll have a look around later and come back with an update

Thanks GR. Kinda strange though as everyone is talking about Beta 2 and on your download link it seems to be Beta 3. Are these pre-release versions of Beta 3?

LifeHacker has just done an article which I'll quote..........

'We already walked you through the first beta of Firefox's next major version 3.0, and today Mozilla released beta 2 for download by willing testers and impatient 'fox users. The second beta plugs memory leaks (yippee!) and adds features like a new URL auto-complete display, smart bookmarks folders, and revamped download manager. Get more details about beta 2 goodness after the jump.

Notable beta 2 improvements from the release notes include:

Location bar & auto-complete: type in all or part of the title, tag or address of a page to see a list of matches from your history and bookmarks; a new display makes it easier to scan through the matching results and find that page you're looking for.

Smart Bookmarks Folder: quickly access your recently bookmarked and tagged pages, as well as your more frequently visited pages with the new smart bookmarks folder on your bookmark toolbar.

New Download Manager: the revised download manager makes it much easier to locate downloaded files, and displays where a file came from.

Memory usage: Over 300 individual memory leaks have been plugged, and a new XPCOM cycle collector completely eliminates many more. Developers are continuing to work on optimizing memory use (by releasing cached objects more quickly) and reducing fragmentation. Beta 2 includes over 30 more memory leak fixes, and 11 improvements to our memory footprint.

Of course, this is a beta so you don't want to move over to it full-time—unless you're cool with some instability and incompatible extensions while the kinks get ironed out. The Firefox 3 Beta 2 is a free download for all platforms'.

The download link took me to downloadsquad and from there to Morzilla and eventually to this link which is totally different to yours WWW Link

Still no further forward but I respect GR's post but I think my link in the line above may be the place to go for the meantime.

Beta 3 STILL does not work with windowblinds!!

Are they mad? This is a serious issue, but apparently they're ignoring it. Is stardock going to do anything to fix the problem on the WB end?

don't know but you can have WB ignore FF and then that should fix the problem

Why would I want the app that I spend 85% of my time in windows using to not be skinned?

Yes, of course I can exclude FF in WB, but that is ... rather annoying to no skin applied. I already have it only skin titlebars on ff 2, but if I exclude it completely, I get the old win2k style windowframes which is barf.

I'll stick to FF 2 and wait I suppose for Stardock to fix it since the mozilla folks are apparently ignoring the problem.
