What is the most recent version that supports windows 2000? I'm downgrading a machine with xp since it runs so slowly, but I still want it to look halfway decent.
Also, is there a faq or anything for downgrading to 2k from xp? I figure there must be somewhere.

Why not look at the computer to try and figure why it's running so slowly? How old of a system is it? Have you considered saving your data, wiping the HDD clean, reformating and reinstalling XP?

Win2k is a sweet OS. If it does everything you need . . good on you to chuck it.
I do suggest WindowsFX with Win2k. It can fill in some of the gaps you lose with XP.
