Windowblinds / NOD32 v3?

Can they co-exist?

Friday, November 2, 2007 by bodean | Discussion: WindowBlinds

Just did an update to windowblinds (via stardock central) and it no longer loads on startup.
I just put on NOD32 v3, not sure if that is conflicting or not. If I manually open windowblinds 6, and select a skin, nothing happens. Any ideas?

I tried to install NOD32 3.04 RC1. It works good and I have not found any problems with WindowBlinds. However I uninstalled it because this is only the beta version.

Now I use NOD32 2.70.39.0. Works good on XP and Vista with WindowBlinds 6.0.

So I think that at first you need to check the system security settings (Firewall, Defender, etc...). Try to add the WindowBlinds into the list of exclusions in each of these programs.

But the second reason is more probable: the WindowBlinds was installed incorrect. In this case you need uninstall it, then disable all programs like Firewall or antivirus and restart the computer. Then install WindowBlinds and activate it once again.

Best Regards.
